New York City Ballet co-founder George Balanchine inspired Derek Lam‘s Fall collection with his quote: “There are no new steps, only new combinations.” The palette popped with blues and reds, and Lam’s lineup provided a mix of modern Grecian gowns and swoon-worthy outerwear.
