Q is for Queen

Really, who else could it be in such a narrow category? But, then, Queen deserves a category all its own.

Behind frontman Freddie Mercury, Queen churned out some of the best stadium rock ever: "We Are The Champions," "We Will Rock You," "Another One Bites The Dust," etc.

But rising above everything was the oddball classic "Bohemian Rhapsody," originally released in 1975 and made famous all over again in 1992, thanks to the movie "Wayne's World." I suspect I'm probably not the only one who flashes back to Wayne and Garth and their buddies singing along in their car as they cruise the streets of Aurora, Illinois.

As Wikipedia notes, "The song has no chorus, instead consisting of three main parts: a ballad segment ending with a guitar solo, an operatic passage, and a heavy rock section."
