B is for Anita Baker

I can see the hardest part of this little exercise is going to be choosing a single song.

"Sweet Love" is probably the best-known song by Anita Baker, who exemplifies grade and elegance and has a set of pipes to die for. But I'm going with "Caught Up In The Rapture," one of the many excellent tracks on her 1986 album "Rapture."

Lori and I saw her at the Mount Hood Festival of Jazz in Gresham several summers ago. She didn't disappoint. Equally talented and gracious.
